Note: The client auto-installs all dependencies (.NET SDK, Git, Game Server, Game Client) on first launch. No manual setup required.
Download LoD Client v1.zip (~130 MB) from the website.
Right-click the downloaded file and select "Extract All..."
Extract it to any location — for example:
Important: Do NOT extract inside Program Files — Windows permissions may block the auto-installer. Use your Desktop, Documents, or a custom folder like C:\Games.
Open the extracted folder and double-click LOD_Client.exe to launch.
Windows Defender may show a "Windows protected your PC" warning. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". This is normal for unsigned applications.
On first launch, the client needs to download the game files. This is a one-time setup.
Enter your username and Solana wallet address on the welcome screen. This registers you for exclusive post-Alpha rewards and airdrops.
Click the SETUP tab in the navigation bar. You'll see a list of components with their current status:
Click the "Install All Missing" button. The installer will download and set up each component automatically.
This will take 10-30 minutes depending on your internet speed (total download ~4 GB). You can watch the progress in the output log on the SETUP page.
Once complete, all components should show a green "INSTALLED" status. You're ready to play!
Click LOBBY in the navigation bar. You'll enter as the host of your own lobby.
Click Ready, then click START GAME. The server will launch, and the League of Legends client will open and connect automatically.
To play with friends or join tournaments, everyone needs to be on the same virtual network. We use Radmin VPN — it's free, fast, and easy.
Go to the official Radmin VPN website and download the installer:
Install it with the default settings. A system restart may be required.
Launch Radmin VPN after installation. You'll see your local VPN IP address displayed at the top (e.g. 26.x.x.x).
Click "Join an existing network" and enter:
Click "Join". You should now see other players online in the network list.
Your Radmin VPN IP (shown at the top of the Radmin window, e.g. 26.88.225.100) is what other players will use to connect to your lobby. The host shares this IP.
Keep Radmin VPN running while playing PvP. If you disconnect from the VPN, other players won't be able to reach your game.
You'll automatically be the host. Your VPN IP address is shown in the lobby.
Share your Radmin VPN IP (e.g. 26.88.225.100) with other players so they can join your lobby.
Once everyone has joined, picked champions, and clicked Ready — hit START GAME. The server launches and all connected players will load into the match.
The host will share their Radmin VPN IP with you.
In the LoD Client, go to LOBBY, enter the host's IP address in the connection field, and click Connect.
Select your champion, spells, and team, then click Ready. The host will start the game when everyone is ready.
Click "More info" → "Run anyway". This is standard for unsigned applications and is completely safe.
